2 days of Pure Madness!

As 2011 came to a close and the countdown reached 0, surrounded in a sea of white, we came to realize that we were at the best place to bring in 2012. Weeks before, Heist and Co literally received a countless amount of event invites to attend what others claimed would be the greatest New Year’s party around, but one look around White Wonderland during the countdown the confetti blasting, laser “pew pew’ing” and the pyrotechnics flashing at the Anaheim Convention Center, we knew we made the best decision of all of 2011 to spend it with our Insomniac Events family who brought Orange County its first real WHITE PARTY.

It was no wonder that this event sold out within weeks of tickets being offered. With a line of such magnitude who wouldn’t want to ring in the New Year’s at another one of Insomniac’s star studded events. Every single DJ who performed put on a set that would literally blow you away. My personal favorite’s would either have to be Dadalife’s set from Day 1 [Who doesn't love some bananas and champagne?!] or Steve Angello’s set from day 2 [1/3 of SMH!].

Every single person we spoke to at this event said this had to have been their bestNew Year’s Eve in years!

Thank You Insominiac for such a great 2011, Heist & Co can’t want to see what you have in store for 2012!

Its always great to see our friends from the same industry progress as time moves on. Today, we are proud to find out our good friends from Imking are opening up their first flagship store in Santa Ana. It feels like yesterday when I used to hang out with the main guys at random house parties, and empty parking lots talking about how our futures will turn out. From their first ideas on their debut line, to their random side projects like hot sauce. We love how Imking is always trying to create their own path to peruse their passion. We wish the best for our fellow brand and hope you all join us to celebrate our good friends’ accomplishments.

The Best of Escape from Wonderland

Your sick twisted dark fantasy has arrived. Escape From Wonderland lured never-ending waves of zombies, ghouls, and other creepy crawling costumed fans to this massive sold out event with over 45,000 attendees. Insomniac Events, one of the largest event promoters in the rave scene has created the beginning of what looks to be a long tradition for electronic dance music fans world wide as “THE” Halloween destination.

The five ghoulish and ghastly stages hosted over 40 of the most popular DJs out there. The hypnotic beats booming from towering speakers and stunning laser light shows cut through the foggy air and transported the hyped audience to new realms at each breath-taking stage. Nothing else in the world mattered to this chaotic dancing mob, under the spell of the DJs such as Steve Angello, Afrojack, ATB, to Borgore, Sub Focus, and many more who made it possible to literally dance the night away.

The Nos Event Center never looked so alive, being sold out in ticket sales, the event went on without a glitch. A controlled chaos between the DJs and fans, feeding off each other’s energy. The debut of Escape from Wonderland definitely shined a positive light on any negative stigma raves used to have in so many ways. I predict Insomniac Events will only get bigger and better each year.

Calvin Harris @ Sutra Club

Calvin Harris kills it again. People as far as Oakland came down to Sutra Club Orange County just to get a close glimpse of the great Calvin spin the night away. The only way to spend your labor day!

The completely sold out event crammed club goers in like sardines and as I looked across the crowd the faces all told the same story, “I hope this night never ends!”. I can’t remember much more from the night but luckily we have pictures. One thing is for sure Calvin Harris always kills it!

The Best of Pacific Festival

We all got the sniffles! The Heist and Co Crew caught the flu from partying all night at PACIFIC FESTIVAL with Steve Aoki… and it was all WORTH IT! Bigger Stages, clear skies, a gigantic full moon, and a massive grass fields by a lake, meant one thing bigger crowds! Pacific Festival also brought performing line ups including, Snoop Dogg, Cut/Copy, Calvin Harris, Ghostland Observatory, The Twelves, and of course our good friend Steve Aoki.

This was our second time being apart of Pacific Festival, and to my surprise the event went from great to “crazy-great.” My flu is slowly fading but these memories will last us a lifetime! Enjoy!

The Best of EDC – DAY 1

Electric Daisy Carnival has always been my favorite event, but now in Las Vegas, it is out of control, in a good way! The stages are bigger, the music is louder, and the crazy people are ~~crazier~~ SEXXXIER. With extended hours from 8pm-6am and an extra day, things definitely got crazy sexy. I am still amazed about how many people recognized us from the past Insomniac events. Thanks for being the great party animals that you are and sharing all your crazy stories with us.
