This past week we attended at the MAGIC tradeshow/S.L.A.T.E. in Las Vegas. Besides the gambling, parties, and lack of sleep it was a good time to make new friends and reconnect with others from across the world. At an event like this 5 days can easily feel like 2 days because there is so much to see. All in all we had a great time and just wanted to thank our friends for all the support.

As usual The Seventh Letter Crew exhibit some work in S.L.A.T.E.

Giant Robot Biennale Recap

Yesterday Vince(Cakedout), Ben(Triumvir) and I went to the Giant Robot Biennale 2: 15 years closing exhibit. The gallery showcases 2 floors of art work from a plethora of different artists. The show felt like 20 different galleries all rolled up in one. Be sure to see it for yourself, January 24 will be its last day.

David Choe displays various pictures of raw meat and genitalia, and leaves it to the viewer to decipher.

Giant Robot Biennale

To close out the hugely successful group art show and 15 year celebration of Giant Robot magazine,JANM will be open for extended hours on Thursday, January 21 to host the Giant Robot Biennale. Curated by Giant Robot co-founder and co-editor Eric Nakamura, this expanded follow-up to the 2007 exhibition Giant Robot Biennale: 50 Issues will highlight artists associated with the magazine over the past 15 years.

Featured artists include David Choe, James Jean, Souther Salazar, Theo Ellsworth, kozyndan, Stella Lai, Jack Long, Albert Reyes, Rob Sato, Jeff Soto, Deth P. Sun, Le Merde, David Horvath, and Yukinori Dehara.

Admission will be free, and many of the participating artists and key members of the Giant Robot family will be in attendance as part of this special gathering. Expect refreshments, a musical guest, The Binges and DJ Puffs, and other surprises.
