Michael Jackson transcended art, music, dance, fashion, as well as peace and equality. A world role model and hero.

I still remember the first time I saw the moonwalk. In my attempts to be more like the “King,” I only walked backwards, turned with a spin, and end it with a crotch grab.

Thanks to the video “Thriller,” I wasn’t able to sleep for weeks, but it was this that awoke my interest in zombies, fantasy, as well as fashion.

In commemoration of his life as the “King of POP”, Heist & Co. has designed a shirt
recalling his triumphs in music with his groundbreaking “Thriller.”

The front shows Michael as he was when he first amazed the world, in his legendary red leather outfit he wore to perform the ultimate music video/short film.

The back shows Michael as a werewolf, Michael has always been intrigued about transformation, whether it was into a werewolf, panther, or even other people.

This shirt embodies Michael as we knew him as well the Michael whose theatrics and music amazed us all.

So yesterday I got a chance to meet Johan of 3sixteen, this guy has a world of information. Being a new brand it’s always good to get feed back from established brands and insight on how they view street wear and just good pointers. Johan (3sixteen) , my friend Grey Cho and Me …..

We ate at a place called La Taquiza… amazing food, and much to my surprise Bobby Hundred (thehundreds) was there. I didn’t have a camera , but Bobby did …..

Foreign Family’s Get Pregnant Show

Foreign Family (FF) has definitely been a major influence to me as well as thousands of other brands out there. It was truly a honor meeting these down-to-earth guys Yoshi-Designer and Chad-Business.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Chad, the business side of FF, and within the first minute I found out that Chad has the energy of a tornado: he had just come back from Barcelona at 6am, hosted the art gallery, and was already off to SF in the morning. Chad was kind enough to spill some of the upcoming news and events with me but for now, he would like to keep them classified…

All I can say is stay tuned to their blog frequently (10 times a day), as you won’t be disappointed. (Miami)
